Licence Info

Things that are required to carry along along with you when you are moving for a Licence.

01. Applications in Form No. 1,2 & 3

(and 1A for applicants of age 40 years or above for private vehicles driving licence and all applicants for commercial vehicles driving licence).

02. Three recent passport size photographs of yourself.

03. Proof of your address and date of birth through any one of the following documents :

• School Leaving Certificate / Birth Certificate
• Ration Card / Election ID Card / Passport
• Life Insurance Policy (More than 2 years old)
• Electricity / Telephone Bill / House Tax Receipt
• Pay slip issued by any office in the Central / State Government or a local body
• REMEMBER TO GET THE COPY OF THE DOCUMENT ATTESTED BY A GAZETTED OFFICER OF THE CENTRAL/STATE GOVERNMENT OR A LOCAL BODY.

You need to under go through a verbal or written test on road signs and traffic rules of the  road from Licensing Authority.
